Technical Lead – Media Frameworks

Responsibilities
- Responsible for Media framework integration in TV/STB and Mobile/Android TV platforms
- Optimizing chains for optimal AV performance on different platforms
- Technical interface with Customer/Platform/Middleware/Application and Validation teams
- Triaging of issues, debug and fix issues
Skills/Experience
- Good understanding of Audio/Video compression basics, Video codecs (HEVC, H.264, MPEG-2 ) and audio codecs( AAC, Dolby AC3, AC4, MPEG-H), AV synchronization techniques
- Thorough understanding of one or more multimedia frameworks (OpenMAX, GStreamer, Stage fright, OpenCore, FFMPEG) is mandatory
- Knowledge in media container and streaming formats like MP4, TS, MPEG Dash, HLS etc
- Passion for programming. Must possess strong programming skills in : C/C++
- Programming skills in Python added advantage
- Programming languages: C (mandatory)/C++
- Good SW debugging skills
- Experience working with open source / third party libraries
- Configuration managements tools : GIT/SVN
- Good written and oral communication skills
